Maharishi Upcycled Project

A brand born in the nineties with a military aesthetic and attention to detail, Maharishi has created the upcycled project. The brand sources rejected old surplus military fabric to recreate new articles of clothing. The collection includes jackets, coats, pants, kimonos, hats, and bags.

They use screening, dyeing, patches, and intricate embroidery work to re-purpose military apparel for fashion. An example is using a vintage parachute to create a backpack. The pieces are one of a kind and visually astouding. The items are available online as well as stores such as United Arrows, Wellgosh, Revolve and a  few more.  Once again Maharishi sticks to their ethos.
